Lauren gave a talk on how to leverage tech and collaboration to creatively change the way you make and perform music.

Lauren worked on the #EarthToParis campaign to bring as many eyes, ears and voices into the Paris COP21 Climate Conference as possible, and show world leaders that the time for bold action on climate change is now.
1.4 billion impressions and 7+million views later, #EarthToParis played a part in making history ---for the first time, virtually every nation signed an accord with responsibilities to take action on climate change.
Lauren helped develop corporate and celebrity partnerships, manage outreach and produce the "Love Letter" art installation at the Petit Palais in Paris.

Music education should reflect advances in tech and industry changes! Lauren co-founded and developed a program, curriculum and app to give music education in schools a major upgrade. It teaches production, engineering, songwriting and instruments through a unique platform that enables students and professionals to collaborate.

With an LA2050 Goldhirsh Foundation Grant, NRBLB assembled a diverse team to address the absence of creative learning in education. Lauren consulted as a creative strategist and researcher, as well as project managed the Locke High School library's transformation from an unused space to a future forward immersive learning zone.

Lauren helped organize, produce and land sponsors for the conference.

Lauren spent a week in Vienna, Austria with Syrian refugee families awaiting asylum. She spent the bulk of her time working with children -- playing music for them, teaching games, dances, and taking them to playgrounds.
From concept to execution, Lauren created and ran a STEAM Carnival for the Imagine LA families transitioning out of homelessness. Each booth at the carnival had a hands on science experiment to play and learn with, while an afternoon magic show by Simon Coronel knocked everyones socks off.

Lauren performed for LA's One Billion Rising rally at City Hall alongside Jane Fonda, Marianne Williamson and LA Mayor Eric Garcetti.
Lauren organized a Day of Service where Buzzfeed creatives, content creators and celebrities mentored students of the i.am.angel foundation. Students learned everything from stop motion animation to best practices for brainstorming... and left with the biggest smiles ever !
Lauren organized a day of service for Sunset Gower employees to beautify Ramona Elementary. The group painted 4 handball court murals, planted 7 succulent gardens, landscaped, built 2 planter benches, painted 6 benches and installed an aeroponics edible garden unit (donated by LA Urban Gardens)!

Lauren co-wrote the credits track for Mexico Pelagico, a multi-award winning documentary about eco-tourism and shifting paradigms to save dwindling shark populations and mitigate the drastic repercussions from their disappearance.
